Description

We know that the Standard Model vacuum suffers from stability and we belong to the so-called "metastable vacuum". As a remedy any sort of scalar extensions are welcome. We show that extra scalar from the SU(2) doublet and triplet can become the desired dark matter and serve both purposes. On the other hand, the light neutrino masses can be explained by famous ferminic extensions of Type-I and Type-III seesaw mechanisms. It seems a relatively larger Yukawa coupling in both the cases (inverse seesaw), can run into more instability of the electroweak vacuum. Then additional dark scalars are more motivated. Recent observations of gravitational wave signatures prompt us to study the possibility of First Order Phase Transition (FOPT) in those inert singlet and triplet scenarios, which is also motivated for electroweak baryogenesis.
