Joint Yonsei-Konkuk-Sogang Mini-Workshop on FOPT

"Sizing the walls: how to compute bubble wall velocities and widths in first order phase transitions"

The increasing interest in detecting gravitational waves from cosmological processes steaming out from particle physics has prompted a new era for the development of techniques for the proper characterisation of parameters associated to these processes. Among them, the characteristics of the bubble wall velocity during first order phase transitions and the decay rate of metastable states in quantum and thermal field theories that can lead to observed gravitational  waves play a central role.

In this workshop we will take a hands-on approach to learn cutting-edge tools to make these calculations possible in realistic models.
